1 Peter 2:25 When they hurled insults at him he did not retaliate;when he suffered,he made no threats.Instead he entrusted himself to him who judges justly.Some of us have gone through a tough time because of something that was said to us and that broke our hearts and made us loose hope and trust even in those we considered friends or a loved one.Our normal reaction as human beings is always to retaliate and seek to justify ourself and very rarely will you find yourself just letting it go and trusting God.Jesus our Lord before he was crucified went through insults upon insults and it would have been easy for him being the son of God and all power entrusted to him he would have done what was neccesary but out of humility and reverance to the Father no insult or deceit was ever found in him,he never sought to justify himself before man because he knew his standing with the Father and also he knew that it was the Father's desire for him to face persecution in body,mind and also in spirit he still held on to the will of God and we as his children and followers of him God has given us the same spirit of his son Jesus christ to endure and persevere and entrust ourselves to him even when the seat gets hot and hotter.The devil will always want us to be discouraged when alot has been said about us that is untrue and his desire is to bring contention and cause us not to trust what the word of God says and to have us walk with our heads bowed down in shame and discouragement hence causing a bitter root to start growing within us but as  a child of God who knows the Father's word and the Father's will and the father's love,God will cause the voice of the enemy to grow faint and the voice of Jesus to sweetly and gently confirm to you that no weapon fashioned against you will prosper and as you trust him he will help you and remind you that you are not alone and he is always there with you to help you in whatever you are going through,We servants and children of God will always have to face persecution be it physical,spiritual and emotional but your response is what matters will you trust God or will you cave in to fear.Therefore with that said and done no matter what has been uttered against us in words or somebody's actions let us ask God to help us not to curse men with our tongues but rather to bless them and leave the rest to God,you may find yourself seeking to justify yourself and wanting to prove your innocence but remember what Jesus went through and if you are going through the same do what Jesus would do.I love you all and be abundantly and exceedingly blessed thank you for taking your time to read.This week when insulted don't seek to retaliate and add fire to fire there will only be an inferno but seek to bless for out of your tongue comes blessings or curse and with your tongue and lips you create your environment so its upto you to create the kind of environment you desire.Salem

Make way for the Lord in your heart

Hebrews:12:1Therefore since we are sorrounded by a great cloud of witnesses,let us throw off everything that hinders and the sin that so easily entangles and let us run with perseverance the race marked out for us,2:Let us fix our eyes on Jesus,the author and the perfecter of our faith,who for the joy set before him endured the cross,scorning its shame and sat at the right hand of the throne of God.To be honest in life we are face with situations and circumstances that we find ourself fixating on what is going on rather than Jesus but we are encouraged to always trust in him and focus our eyes upon him for he knows our begining and the end,the devil might throw you off guard but when you resist him and submit to God by calling on him,acknowledging and being obedient to what God says then the obstacles that the enemy threw against you will turn into a stepping stone.Lift your eyes to the hill and there you will see where your help comes from,you do realise that when you look up the skies their is nothing that hinders you from seeing the sun and the moon but if you look down all you will see is limitation...do some excersice and stretch your hands to the Living God for there is no limit to reaching him he is waiting on you to focus on him rather than your present situation....Be blessed

Freedom

Romans 8:1-2there is therefore now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus.who do not live according to the sinful nature but according to the spirit,Because through Christ Jesus the law of the spirit of life set me free from the law of sin and death.To be honest many times i have allowed myself to feel condemned because i wans't able to fulfill what somebody else required me to do,many time i have allowed people to point out my weaknesses and i have allowed them,many times i never allowed this scripture to really sink in and settle in my spirit.We are not perfet but we serve a perfect God our downfall is always to please man rather than God and when man fails us we turn it around to wonder why God is at a distant.Honestly speaking God is as nearer to you than you could ever imagine.The devils desire is always to put you down and shoot whatever poisonous arrows that he can to rob you off of the peace of God and the love of God,the devils desire is to kill you and to destroy you and how he starts he comes in a very sneaky way and little do you know the poison has already begun to take effect in your system.That's why it is very important that every child of the Living God who has been redeemed by the blood of the lamb needs to be aware of the devices of the devil,how he comes,how he attacks and whats his purpose,his purpose is to rob you of the joy of the Lord,the peace of God,he wants to distract you,make you feel like you aren't good enough or not qualified or not annointed enough.But one good news is that God Almighty has redeemed you through Jesus he has reconciled you through Jesus,God rejoices over you,he gives you peace that the world can't give,joy unspeakable joy,his banner over you is love he has summoned you by name you are his,God fulfills his purpose for you,he makes the crooked places straught and above all else he fights the battle for you,He annoints you with oil and nothing can separate you from God's love it doesn't matter if you face persecution,insults,rejection,fear or doubt,God's love is always there for you he knows the condition of your heart he knows everything about you and he is concerned about you,So don't allow legalism,works or anything disqualify you from the grace of God that has saved you and has taught you to say no to every form of ungodliness(titus 3:11-15)It's time that we know that we have been set free by the Lord Jesus and renew our mindset and be watchful in prayer,praise and worship to God.Let romans 8 be your meditation and enjoy the freedom you have received in Christ Jesus,For it is God who justifies,who is he that condemns Rom 8:33-34)

Who or what do you worship

Rom 12:1 Therefore i urge you brothers in view of God's mercy,to offer your bodies as living sacrifices,holy and acceptable to God.this is your reasonable act of worship.
First and foremost forgive me for the late update but i do believe you have all been richly blessed by the Lord and not giving up the good fight of faith because it is the Lord Jesus who enables you to stand firm.In times of storm he is a shelter,in times of war he is our fortress.in our weakness he is our strength.
Back to the topic who or what do we worship we have been faced with so many distractions here that even finding some time to spend with God is not in our schedule anymore.I have been faced with challenges when it was time to sing praises to God,i knew that worship was about the songs that we sing until the spirit of God opened up my understanding to know that its not only about the songs we sing but how we live our lives in church at home at work or even when you meet strangers.In this society or in this modern day,you can find yourself sincerely worshiping but worshiping the wrong thing or person for instance money,sex,music,beats to a song,artist,your job,your worries,your problems,ministry etc and God is not in the picture.Worship is a revelation of who God is to you,knowing that your body is his temple where you carry his divine presence,worship to God is simply knowing that you can praise God without any instruments,no limitations,but you will find yourself clapping dancing as he puts a song in your heart,experiencing unspeakable joy,inner peace worship to God is knowing that you are a holy priesthood called to offer spiritual sacrifices acceptable to God through Christ Jesus.I have often wondered what is unacceptable sacrifice to God,when we live according to the sinful nature doing what we desire to do to gratify the desires of the sinful nature and not fearing God,being involved in sexual immorality ignoring that your body is God's temple.Busy body always in peoples business,gossip,complaining as though God has never done anything good in your life,wavering between two opinions money or God,idols or God.Real worship to God is being open with God renewing your mind and knowing that you are a son he is the Father,you the clay he is the potter,you are the vessel and he is the one who knows what to do with the vessel or how to put it to use.One time i was at work and later at night as i desired to get into prayer i couldn't because my mind was filled because of the disappointment that i had faced prior,i knew i wanted to talk to God but i didn't even know how to begin,music couldn't do it for me,i tried to read the bible but i was only staring at it...so i knelt down and the holy spirit gave me this verse...be clear minded and self controlled so that you can pray 1 Peter 4:7 i had to be honest and this is what came out of my mouth God i know your word tells me to be clear minded and self controlled so i can pray but to be honest my mind isn't clear and i haven't controlled myself...in less than a few minutes i found myself praying.All God wants from us is that we give it all to him and he will take care of it worship is not just about raising your hands or jumping or singing the right notes its about being wrapped in the love of a heavenly Father,giving God your all because he gave us his all(Jesus his son)giving God the best sacrifice and not sloppy seconds,being honest with him how you feel letting him know what troubles you checking in on him,smiling back at him being ever close to his heart and letting him dwell in your heart.let us not put him in a schedule,program or in a box but let God be the center,the reason and let him be your all in all in  Jesus marvelous name.Be abundantly blessed and have an awesome time as you live your life bringing glory to God for you were created for his glory Isaiah 43:7

You are the light in darkness

Matthew 5:14-15 You are the light of the world,a city on a hill cannot be hidden.Neither do people light a lamp and put it under a bowl instead they put it on its stand and it gives light to everyone in the house....Its amazing how the holy spirit ministers to us and teaches us,last night i was watching an african movie with my friend and when the movie was done i went in my room and knelt on the floor as though to pray but was reading the bible,what i was reading wasn't registering to me even though deep within me i really wanted to read God's word because i knew that God wanted to tell me something,so i walked out of my room went to the living room and sat there with the living room lights off and was using the reflection from the hallway when my friend came out of the shower she asked"eh why are you sitting in darkness"i responded by a small laugh(i don't know how to describe the laugh)and then said to her Jesus said i am the light of the world and if anyone follows me he will never walk in darkness but will walk in the light and as long as i am in the world i am the light of the world John 9:5.My friend responded by thank you for that word i really needed it.I give glory to God because he ministered that word by his spirit through&to me too.Sometimes God will place us in a place where he will speak to us only if we be still,the holy spirit will minister through and to us when we develop that hunger and thirst for his word.Every believer in the Lord Jesus is that light that needs to shine in this world,Jesus is still here with us He has never left us because He now lives and dwells in us by his holy spirit,so children of God shouldn't run away when darkness come but rather take their stand and be that beacon because greater is He who is in us that he who is in the world,you will be amazed at how much light you will shine when you walk in a room full of darkness,you will give light to those who don't even know how light shines.Look at the sun in the skies when the sky is clear blue the sun will shine in its brilliance,when it is covered but the clouds the light is hidden by the clouds we are also like the sun up in the sky.Be exceedingly blessed and go be the light in darkness let it shine so bright because it is Christ Jesus shining in you.

1 Corinthians 12:26 If one part suffers,every part suffers with it,if one part is honoured every part rejoices with it.
Have you ever paid attention to your body?do you realise that when you hear good news or something wonderful happens to you or a close one first o all you will shout with your mouth or joy and gladness,your hands will be raised high  in jubilee and your feet will be jumping up and down celebrating and your body will be moving side to side or whichever way it chooses to go.The same also happens when faced with not pleasant news every part of your body is tired or just bluh.As i was reading this verse last week and how apostle Paul servant of God wrote to tell us how we are one body in the Lord Jesus and baptised by one spirit into the body and how we all serve a different purpose in the body of Christ to reach the goal we have been called to or fulfill our purpose in the body.If one part suffers the other suffers with it.I observed myself on wednesday just to see how my body would respond and i was amazed how everything in me was involved from my head to my toes and emotions and environment.What i am aiming at is that we should always be there to rejoice with our brothers and sisters in the Lord when they suffer we suffer,when they rejoice we rejoice,we need to arise as a body and stop fighting against each other and looking at ourselves better that the other brother/sister or my church is better than your church no Jesus is coming for his church,his body,his bride the church he shed his blood for that is you,me and everyone that is a believer in him for we all form one unit.Recently when my friend was going through some challenges in her life and she was overwhelmed by her present circumstance as i listened to her speak,i was sad because i didn't know what to do but the best i could tell her was that God loves you and he has a purpose for you,he cares for you and he is fully aware o what is going on,i was crying inwardly not for myself but for her i felt like her issue now became mine,her burden was now my burden,in this i learned that when you cry the hand will wipe your tears when you are walking the eyes will be fixed on where you are heading or the ground you are walking on,when you are tired and you need a place to rest your shoulder or back will rest itself against a wall so that your whole body can regain strength.To eat food you need your hand to put the food in your mouth,teeth to chew,tongue to taste,your thoat to carry the food to the stomach each member in the body of Christ has a purpose and even the people God brings in your life serves a purpose you cannot be two friend who are both hands or eyes one has to be the eyes and the other one the ears,one has to be the hands the other one the legs.Therefore let us be glad that we are part of the body and rejoice with one another in whatever situation.

Be ready for battle

Every single believer in Christ Jesus  is involved in a spiritual battle,we battle against the ghost of the past visible and invisible,we contend for the faith we face spiritual battles each and every day in order for us to get hold of the victory that God has given to us in Christ Jesus.As a soldier you have to be prepared and trained and know your enemy and the weapons that he uses to come against you.One thing about the enemy is that he will not sleep until he has done damage that is satan but thanks be to God that Paul servant of God advices us not to be ignorant of the devils cunning devices and also we are reminded that the enemy comes in like a roaring lion seeking whom he may devour,so this tells us he is not even a lion Jesus is the only lion because the bible testifies of Jesus as the roaring lion of the tribe of Judah so the devil will always counterfeit the things of God but we have to be alert.A child of God and a soldier of Jesus Christ must know his or her position and ready with the rightful garments and armour so that the enemy will not catch you off guard.

1.Be strong in the Lord and in the power of his might....Joshua 1:9
2.Put on the full armor of God so you can take your stand against the devils scheme...forgive 2nd corinth 2:10-11
3.Stand your ground&watch God deliver you as he fights for you..2nd chronicles 20:17
Armour of God:
1.Belt of truth buckled around your waist
2.Breastplate of righteousness in place...Isaiah 59:17
3.Feet fitted in wih the readiness that comes from the Gospel of peace.
4.Shield of faith..without faith you can't please God...faith comes by hearing the word of God
5.Helmet of salvation...Isaiah 59:17
6.Sword of spirit which is the word of God...Heb 4:12
7.Pray in the spirit on all occasion.
Be blessed and come out victorious because God has already given you the victory in his son Jesus for we are his soldiers.

The Love of a Father

First and foremost i would love to apologise to the blog readers for the delay and late updates of new messages on this page i had some laptop issues and also was taking abreak from technology but thanks be to God and the holy spirtit who always reminds us never to grow tired or weary of doing the will of the Father and sharing the love of His son Jesus Christ with the rest of the world in whatever medium of communication that we have been given to spread the word.the word of God that was revealed to us and dwelt among us,the word of God that brings forth salvation to all manking the word of God that became flesh,the word of God that came straight from the mouth of our Heavenly Father,our daily bread and that word is Jesus Christ saviour and redeemer of the world the lamb of God who takes away the sins of the world through his precious blood.I am delighted to share the word and the love of God that he has towards his children whether hard headed weak or strong,in a dungeon somewhere God's love is everywhere and available to all and for all.
How do we know that God really  does love us,well Jesus said to Nicodemus one of the Pharisees:For God so loved the world that Hes gave his one and only son that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life(John:3:16)This has always been a common scripture taught in children service and even in evangelism and we know that this word is true because if God didn't love us he wouldn't send his son to reconcile us to him but because He is our Father to see us perish breaks his heart but to see us believing and receiving His love and grace and sharing it with one another by word,action,relationships etc..it pleases our Heavenly Father.I would love to challenge a few of you to share this love and just tell them Jesus loves you,or do something to a friend,widow or knock on your neighbours door and just say hello share the love of God in Christ Jesus however way you can do it it's not a heavy task.Don't let it be a burden but with the help of the Holy Spirit He will lead and guide you...If you have to just put your hand on someone's shoulder and just tell them"You know Jesus Loves you"and smile even if your teeth isn't perfect to you,if you happen to walk into a store and find someone of a different language or tribe ask how they say it in their language and share the Love of Jesus.God is with you and He will direct you,so don't be afraid.Be exceedingly blessed and have a prosperous week in the Lord filled with joy from the Holyspirit.

Heart of Repentance

^{Luke (15:17-21}“When he came to his senses, he said, ‘How many of my father’s hired servants have food to spare, and here I am starving to death! ¹⁸ I will set out and go back to my father and say to him: Father, I have sinned against heaven and against you. ¹⁹ I am no longer worthy to be called your son; make me like one of your hired servants.’ ²⁰ So he got up and went to his father.
   “But while he was still a long way off, his father saw him and was filled with compassion for him; he ran to his son, threw his arms around him and kissed him.
   ²¹ “The son said to him, ‘Father, I have sinned against heaven and against you. I am no longer worthy to be called your son.’....
One way to receive healing&restoration is through repentance God is always waiting for us with open arms to receive us He sent his only son to redeem us and reconcile us to him.Sometimes in life we go too deep or go a different direction knowingly or unknowingly but one thing about God is that he is patient with us he is everywhere with us we just don't realise our Father's love when circumstances and impossible situations come against us,and they become our"lords"when we feel grown and feel like we can take care of ourselves and ask God for our inheritance not knowing how to utilise what He has given us we foolishly spend it all on the wrong things,Just like the prodigal son who humbled himself and came to his senses after all he had been through he was willing to go back home and if it meant being one of his fathers servants it was so much better than eating with the swine in a strange land and being under somebody elses authority other than the Father's authority,
Heart of repentance opens us to receive our Fathers love and it also brings us to a place of humility and peace with God....When you read verse 22 after the Father saw his son he ran towards him kissed him and welcomed him and he asked the servants to Bring the best robe to put it on his son,a ring to put it on his finger and sandals for his feet,fattened calf for celebration,to celebrate life from death.This is a perfect demonstration of our Heavenly Father He clothes us with robes of righteousness (Isaiah 61:10),He seals us with His promised Holy spirit(Eph 1:13).He plants our feet on the gospel of peace and on a spacious place.God loves you no matter how deep of a hole we've gotten ourselves into his hand is still stretched out to bring us out,no matter how far we have strayed he is our shepherd who will always seek his sheep.Praise be to the God and the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ be exceedingly blessed and have agreat day ahead of you. 

Repent so that God will heal us once again

Well to be honest there has been an increase of paganism that has sneaked into the house of God,we have forsaken God and desiring to be like other "nations" around us,going back to be entangled in the bondage of sin again,seeking to be justified by the world rather than by God,seeking our own and imagining evil against one another,treating one another as the enemy when the only enemy we have is the devil who has turned the hearts of many cold,brother fights against brother/sister,marriages are broken asunder, etc.We've forgetting that we were called to be different,set apart by the blood of Jesus.God is calling us to repentance to rend our hearts and not our garments to fast the way he has called us to fast Isaiah 58 and not the way we want to fast...we fast wanting a financial breakthrough of which it is okay but when we see it not coming forth we begin to worry well Jesus said in the book of Matthew 6:25-34  that the pagan world runs after these things and our Heavenly Father knows we need them so why should we worry and seek the things that will be consumed by fire or blown away by strong wind or washed away.When we fast can we just fast because God has asked us to,to seek God and hunger for his salvation in our homes,community,country,nation,can we fast a fast of repentance begin from our own homes to church to work to school?so that God will relent from his wrath,for God to open up his heavens and show us mercy again.With that said read Jonah 3:8 But let man and beast be covered with sackcloth.Let everyone call urgently on God let them give up their evil ways and their violence.Vs 9 Who knows?God may yet relent and with compassion turn from his fierce anger so that we will not perish.it's time we get the house in order.For God's desire is not for anyone to perish but that we may all call on the name of our Lord Jesus Christ and be saved...1thessalonians 5:9For God did not appoint us to suffer wrath but to receive salvation through our Lord Jesus Christ.Be blessed

The LORD is my Shepherd

Jesus left us this words that encourages us in the midst of confusion and when we don't know where to go or who to turn to,when standing at the cross roads "I am the good shepherd.The good shepherd lays down his life for the sheep.The hired hand is not the shepherd who owns the sheep.So when he sees the wolf coming,he abandons the sheep and runs away.Then the wolf attacks the flock and scatters it.The man runs away because he is a hired hand and cares nothing for the sheep.I am the good shepherd;I know my sheep and my sheep know me.Just as the Father knows me and i know the Father and i lay my life down for the sheep.(John 10:11-14).A woman of God in her sermon mentioned that a shepherd has to smell like the sheep and this opened my eyes to see where she was coming from and what she was aiming at,sometimes we can be involved in evangelism team or choir or just any field that you have been put to serve in the church if God has put you there then serve wholeheartedly that  when others look at you,they will see you  as one of the members you are in charge of and not just one that has the position and has nothing to do with the people under you.I remember just recently before i made the decision to depart from the place where i used to fellowship i served as one of the teachers for the children worship center and i loved the kids with all of my heart that when i knew my time was coming i kept giving myself an excuse that i have the kids and i don't want to leave i am involved in the ministry and it won't be nice for me to just leave.I was torn inside and especially when you have gotten attached and everyday you are thinking of Sunday with the kids, to prepare the notes or this is what i am going to do with my class and blah blah&i also observed the teachers who were there they  had a passion to teach those kids and impart something new in them.But as for me it reached a point that i had to leave the kids,the church and pack my bags and leave and find a new place.Even though it wasn't easy and no one understood why but it was for the best.
Our LORD Jesus Christ,when he was close to his disciples and he spent most of his time seeking the lost sheep of Israel,healing the sick,casting out demons and also spending his time at the tax collectors and having a meal with them it reminds us that Jesus came to those who needed a savior,someone who will show them compassion,someone who will accept them as they are and he never turned anyone away that's why the pharisees called him a friend of sinners and tax collectors,if the pharisees knew it properly and understood that Jesus was the messiah who was to come into the world to seek the lost sheep of Israel and be a light unto the gentiles,then they would've know that God as the good shepherd had to smell like the sheep.This also taught me that as a servant of God where he leads me next i ought to be a good shepherd to his sheep and smell like the sheep,this also teaches the leaders in ministry that they shouldn't intimidate the sheep with their high position but rather follow the example of Jesus Christ who appointed them in that position and serve the flock of God with care and love a shepherd needs to be close to the sheep,lead the sheep to green pastures and care for the need of the sheep,if a shepherd worries about well if i take care the sheep who will take care of me well God is the chief shepherd who chose and appointed you in Christ Jesus and He didn't appoint you to leave you alone,He appointed you because He is going to be with you if you call on Him, He will direct you to direct his sheep.if a shepherd feels like he can't be close to the sheep or the sheep smells then he ain't a real shepherd but a hired hand so please don't lead the flock of God to brown pastures but  lead them to the source who will lead them to green pastures and that Shepherd and source is Jesus Christ.Be a shepherd after God's own heart.We ought to give our best by following the real example of Jesus,as Jesus sought to please the Father in all He did so should we,Jesus spent sometime alone on the mountain to pray so should we,let us not be consumed so much with ministry that we forget who we are ministering before and that is God.Remember we have been called to serve and not to be served and serving begins by serving God and his flock.Be exceedingly blessed as you read and feel free to leave a comment.

 God has blessed us in the heavenly realm with all spiritual blessings in Christ Jesus our Lord(Ephesians 1:3)The spiritual blessings are salvation,Peace,joy and all the fruits of righteousness or the fruits of the holy spirit(Galatians 5:22-23).The more we desire to gain material possession the more we get stripped off of the spiritual blessing thereby allowing the devil to frustrate us when we shouldn't be.Well i would just encourage each of you that whatever you need God has given to you...2 Peter 1:3 His divine power has given us everything we need for life and godliness,through the knowledge of him who called us by his own glory and goodness.Also Jesus reminds us in Matthew 6:33 But seek first his kingdom and HIS righteousness and all these things will be given to you as well.And if you haven't received yet what god has promised please please don't compromise but rather wait on the Lord for your saviour comes.Personal experience I have been through situations where i have had a few individuals who are also believers ask me to compromise my faith in God but as Abraham our father of faith i chose to wait and some have actually told me well God isn't going to open the heavens and send manna from heaven.Well i don't know about that but i believe the same God who sent manna from heaven for the children of Israel in the wilderness is still able to send it down for us to go harvest it.And for those who think that i am being unrealistic about the manna well let me ask you this...Where does the rain come from?and whats it's purpose?Isn't it to water the ground and provide seed for the sower and bread for the eater?where does the snow come from isn't it from the same heaven?(Isaiah 55:10)So does manna come from heaven yes it does and if you beg to differ then its OK.So dear friends whatever you need from God don't depend on the wisdom of man,trust me due to desperation,i listened to man and i reaped frustration and i am thankful that God reminded me that He is my God and not man.But rather put your trust in God(it is not easy but Jesus said we should also believe in Him John 14:1 Do not let your hearts be troubled.You trust in God,trust also in ME(Jesus),be greatul of where you are and cast your cares and burden upon him and believe that HE will sustain you(PS.56:22).Don't compromise,don't give in,when people judge you still rejoice in your God who will send the manna from heaven,and when it falls on the ground Jesus will direct you to go get it(He is the way John 14:6).For the blessings of the LORD brings wealth and he adds no sorrow to it(Proverbs 10:22)Keep in mind i am not only talking about financial wealth or wealth in the standard of this world but in the Kingdom of God,Increasing in the knowledge of God having a relationship with God,being a lender to many nations and not a borrower.Let us fix our eyes upon Jesus,the author and perfecter of our faith,who for the joy set before him endured the cross,scorning it's shame and sat down at the right hand of the throne of God.(Hebrews 12:2).Be blessed and don't worry about what to eat or drink or what you are going to wear rather be thankful in all circumstances,for this is God's will for you in Christ Jesus.(1Thessalonians 5:18)

Time to walk the walk and not just talk the walk

Last week a servant of God ministered and he asked the people what garment are you wearing?is your garment washed in the blood of the lamb of God?are we still wearing the garment of disobedience,malice,slander,rage,unforgiveness,pride,fornication,lust,greed etc all this we know are idolatry,and Paul servant of God Apostle of Christ Jesus has asked us to put all this to death(col 3:5) and this hinders us from seeing the manifestation and the glory of God,this causes spiritual stagnation in our walk with the Lord Jesus Christ for if any man be in in Christ he is a new creature the old is gone and the new has come,and we know that in the Lord Jesus Christ there is no sin,no spot no wrinkle,no blemish.Well some may think well I'm not perfect and i can't attain to that level well Jesus told the disciples that he will send the holy spirit in his name who will teach us and remind us all things that our Lord Jesus taught the disciples so if you are a follower of Jesus you are not excluded.For it is God who works in you by his spirit and in the name of Jesus therefore the word of God should be your meditation and delight(Ps1).God who begun a good work in you shall bring it into completion(Philippians 1:6).Therefore let us examine ourselves if we are still in the walk or just talking the walk and not walking the walk are we dressed properly with the right garments?For God said through the Prophet Isaiah to us in Isaiah 1:16-19...Wash yourselves make yourselves clean,put away the evil o your doings from before my eyes.cease to do evil.learn to do good,seek justice,rebuke the oppressor,defend the fatherless,plead for the widow, Come now let us reason together,says the Lord,though your sins are like scarlet,they shall be as white as snow,though they are as red as crimson,they shall be as wool.If you are willing and obedient,you shall eat the good of the land...this verses always reminds me of how God still desires the best for us and to clothe us properly how he is patient with us and always willing to save us even when we feel so unworthy but the invitation is still there for us to come to him and just trust and be obedient but when we read further down vs 20 But if you refuse and rebel.You shall be devoured by the sword.For the mouth of the Lord has spoken.well my brothers and sisters i would love to encourage us to just be who God has called us to be and walk in obedience to his word so that we shall not be devoured,or dwell in a sun scorched land,let us be clothed in the righteousness of God that comes by faith in Jesus his only begotten son who knew no sin but became sin for us,who continually stands in the gap to intercede for us,God is calling us to repentance,to renew our minds in his word,forsake our evil thoughts and do good one to another.Higher height in God and a new Level in God through Christ Jesus our Lord.Let us therefore do what God has commanded us not only to talk the walk but to walk the walk and talk the talk.Be exceedingly blessed always and Let the peace of God reign in your heart and mind always....Love you all

Ask God to Increase you

Increase you in the knowledge of Him.In our walk to follow Jesus Christ and to be found worthy&blameless when he returns to reign we do realise that we cannot be stagnant but rather we have been called to bear fruits,fruits of righteousness,fruits that come from being united with Christ and the fellowship of the Holy spirit yes this journey of transformation and growth is not overnight but rather a process,a long road a narrow road sometimes you will miss your turn all you have to do is stand at the cross road and ask for the way to go ask Jesus for he is the way he is always there to lead guide and direct that's why he is our shepherd(ps 23:1,he is the way John 14:6)...just like a new born they don't stay newborn but rather they grow and grow until they learn to sit without support,crawl,try to stand up by holding on things,learn to walk and fall on their tush,when they fall they don't stay down rather they get up and do it again till they get it right.For us sons and daughters of God through the blood of Jesus and receiving him and believing in his name he has given the right to become sons of God(John 1:12)Therefore Peter encourages us as newborn babies,we should crave pure spiritual milk,so that by it we may grow up in our salvation,now that we have tasted that the Lord is good(1 Peter 2:2).and also to increase in the knowledge of God in Christ Jesus through this simple steps given to us by the Apostles of our Lord Jesus and true servants of God,prophets who remained faithful to the testimony of Christ Jesus and to the end and they laid a very good foundation and left us a perfect example of how Christ has been glorified in them,through persecution,tribulations,painful trials and rejection but in the end they shall receive a crown of honour i pray so in the name of Jesus(Peter,Paul,John and all others,Isaiah,Jeremiah,Ezekiel,Moses,Joshua,Elijah,Zachariah,and other great epitomes in the holy bible).therefore all you need to make your calling sure has already been given to us all we need is to ask God to teach us in his holy spirit because Peter reminds us in 2Peter 1:3 that in his divine power(God's divine power that resurrected Jesus)has given us everything we need for life and godliness through our knowledge of him who called us by his own glory and goodness as we continue to abide in Christ Jesus we are guaranteed of this and out of him then no guarantee that's why we have to abide and remain the lord Jesus...concluding 2 peter 1:5-9 for this very reason,make every effort to add to your faith goodness,and to goodness,knowledge,and to knowledge self control,and to self control,perseverance,and to perseverance godliness and to godliness,brotherly kindness and to brotherly kindness love.For if you possess this qualities in increasing measure,they will keep you from being unproductive in your knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ.But if anyone doesn't have them,he is near sighted and blind and has forgotten that he has been cleansed from his past sins.So you do realise that all these are the fruits of holy spirit,the fruits of righteousness and that's what will help us in every step in the Lord...be exceedingly blessed and may the Lord God of heaven and earth creator of all cloth you in the garments of righteousness and the robes of salvation as you eagerly desire to do his will and grow in him through Jesus our Lord...grace and peace be multiplied to you in abundance.Much love Hephzibah!

You are the LIGHT

You are the light of the world a city on a hill cannot be hidden.Neither can one light a lamp and put it under a bowl instead they put it on its stand and it gives light to everyone in the house.In the same way let your light shine before men,that they may see your good deeds and praise your Father in heaven(Matthew 5:14-16) For the word of God says that; therefore if any man be in Christ he is a new creation;the old is gone and the new has come!Going on further...In him(word of God,Jesus) was life and that life was the light of men.So we know out of Christ we have no light but in Christ we are the light since we have been made to be a new being and also as God spoke and said let there be light and there was so it is the same when Christ was revealed to us and he is the light that has driven out the darkness in our lives since also in the beginning we were void just like the earth was and darkness was over the surface just like our lives was in the beginning(Genesis 1:1-3) but because of God's goodness and the fact that he cares for us he also spoke his word in us.In some marriages you will find that the husband is a believer and the wife is not and vice versa in a case like this that's where our light needs to shine so bright so that we could win our companions over to the Lord Jesus...not by criticizing them or being hopeless about the situation or being negative,complaining but rather by being submissive to your help meet and obedient,not only when it comes to sex or issues pertaining to the children or finances but in everything and decision(1 Peter 3:1 Wives in the same way be submissive to your husbands so that if any of them do not believe the word they may be won over without words by the behaviour of their wives.vs 7:Husbands in the same way,be considerate as you live with your wives and treat them with respect as the weaker partner and as heir with YOU OF THE GRACIOUS GIFT OF LIFE SO THAT NOTHING WILL HINDER YOUR PRAYERS) for example if there was a w omen's conference and your husband  is at home not feeling well or he says well you can't go you have to stay home because of this and that we need you here so i don't know what your reaction will be but one thing i know for sure is that as Christ Jesus was submissive to God so are women called to submit to our husbands to win them over and also husbands are required to be considerate  and respectful to their wives.But when you act disobediently or in a manner that is disrespectful to your husband/wife how can one praise your Father in heaven?...they will question.In short terms let us let the love of Christ Jesus shine in us by our deeds and behaviour and start to evangelize not only by words but by our daily lives.Allowing the spirit of God to transform us deep within so we can also influence others to come into that light for the glory of the Lord rises above us(Isaiah 60:1)Christ Jesus is the glory of God revealed to us.

Faith in God

Faith as defined in Hebrews 11:1 is being sure of what we hope for and certain of what we do not see,Faith defined in the dictionary:confident belief in the truth,value,trustworthiness of a person idea or a thing,belief not based on logical proof or material evidence.The defination i love the most is this one Trust in God and his promises as made through Christ Jesus and the scriptures by which humans are justified or saved.One of my sisters in Christ asked me if we could do a message together for Friday  youth service i said yes without hesitation the only thing was that we were to be a tag team trust me i didn't know how it was going to work since I've never done anything like that but of course i have played tag with kids but not when it comes to the word of God where we have to be in one accord in the spirit of God and allow the spirit to flow through the both of us to present one message without even sitting down together to discuss the message.I felt like God was testing me on two things and teaching me two things 1:can i trust his spirit to work on both of us and 2:Can two walk unless they agree?Amos 3:3.Well that's where we both had to walk in Faith and trust God,that's the only word that kept coming out of my mouth we trust God we trust God and that Friday night all went perfect and i believe God did what he had to do and taught me a lesson after wards.Anyway back to Faith which i love to define as the Key that unlocks the promises of God,this key is the word of God(consequently faith comes from hearing the message,and the message is heard through the word of Christ Rom:10:17)and we know that without(faith) this key it's impossible to please God,it's impossible to open the door to God because anyone that comes to God must come believing that he exists and that he rewards those who earnestly seek him Hebrews 11:6 Anyone that comes to God must possess this key and use this key to enter in and have a communicating relationship with God.To develop faith we have to know the spoken word of God seek him out in his word and take the word he has spoken to us and establish a relationship with God.Faith in God is to accept his will for our lives trusting him totally and depending on him to know that he is the one who fulfills his will for our lives (Ps 57:2)Having faith in God is to know without a doubt that what he has promised will surely come to pass no matter how long it takes because God cannot defame himself or yield his glory to an idol,Faith in God is to take God at his word and be rest assured that his word won't go back to him void but it will accomplish the purpose of which he sent it (Isaiah 55:11)Let me remind you that this word dwelt among us and became flesh and the word of God is Jesus Christ revealed who lives not only in us but with us.Having faith in God is to be justified by him and declared righteous by God in Christ Jesus in order for us to receive his promises.Abraham believed God and it was credited to him as righteousness,he didn't waver but stood firm on God's word and promise and also the things God had done for him read Romans 4.God told Abram I am God Almighty(El Shaddai)walk before me and be blameless.I will confirm my covenant between me and you and will greatly increase your number (Gen 17:1-2)in verse 3 Abram fell face down...why did he fall face down? to worship God because he took God at his word trusted totally and completely what El Shaddai had said.God chose him to be blameless and by faith he received God's promise and God went ahead by changing his name from Abram to Abraham.Faith in God also transforms us and renews us,faith in God brings about change a distinction..
Lastly faith in God also allows God to direct us in the path he has chosen for us to walk in his will and obedience:Proverbs 3:5 Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding in all your ways acknowledge him and he shall make your paths straight.Have a faith filled week in God through Christ Jesus his spoken word.

His name is the Word of God

The word of God revealed to us and dwelt among us that word of God is Jesus Christ,he was there before the creations and will be there even after the creation.For Jesus declared that heaven and earth shall pass away but the word of God will still remain it will never pass away(Matthew 24:35).God also spoke to the children of Israel through Moses his servant and told them that man doesn't live on bread alone but by every word that comes out of the mouth of the LORD(Deuteronomy 8:3)This teaches us  how to totally depend and trust in God and not to live according to what we see or know but to live in Faith without fear or doubt in his word and through his word(Christ Jesus)and to live according to what the word of God tell us.In our Christian walk or walk to follow Jesus we are required to study the word of God and hide it in our heart so that we may not sin against God,the word of God gives us away out of temptation,the word of God shines a light upon our path so that we may see clearly where we are going,the word of God is our weapon of warfare and the word of God is Jesus Christ.The more we read the Word of God and spend time to know the Word of God,the more the person Of Jesus Christ is revealed in us and the more our faith in God is established and our knowledge of him is increased.Therefore let us make it our ambition to spend time in the Word of God and with the word of God.For the word of God is the name of the son of God king of Kings and Lord of Lords(Revelations !9:12-13)

Word of God revealed
