My Heart Rest in Him

Matthew 11:28 Come to me all you who are weary and burdened,and I will give you rest...How comforting to know that there is one who is willing to give us rest in himself and that is the man Jesus Christ(Yeshua Ha Mashiach).On the days that i work and i get to the end of the day my body is exhausted,my mind is tired i can't even think straight sometimes,my back is tired and all I always want to do is just lie down or rest my back somewhere.One thing that I will confess is that i never knew what this scripture meant,I never really applied it to my life or i never really meditated upon that scripture as I should have.One thng God desires for His sons and daughters is that we shouldn't allow the daily cares of this world to rob us of our strength and if at any time we feel weak we should always remember the invitation that Jesus(Yeshua)has already given to us.He wants us to receive it with an open heart,then all our burdens and cares will be light. The cares and all that is happening in this world right now has caused many to grow faint,to lose heart and even to turn away from the faith and hope they once believed in.sometimes we get to a point you don't even know what is going on or what to do or even who to turn to.But Jesus(Yeshua)already made us aware that times like this were coming and therefore we shouldn't be discouraged,disheartened or lose hope in Him.He sent His Holy Spirit(Ruach HaKodesh)in His name to be with us,to teach us all things and even to remind us of everything He said to us,the Holy Spirit teaches us the truth John 14:26 The Holy Spirit also intercedes for us when we are weak and don't know what to pray for,He intercedes for us according to the will of God our Heavenly Father..look@Romans 8:26-27. We have all that we need to help us to stop worrying and lay down our burdens and give it to Jesus(Yeshua)because He promised to give us rest,the invitation has already been given to us.But it is upto us to accept it with an open heart and know that we sincerely need to rest in Christ in God.Resting in Christ Jesus in God is like laying down on soft white fluffy cushions sorrounded by soft white feather like linen with a fresh scent a big smile on your face not wanting the feeling to fade away or be robbed from you,its like having a dream that you don't want to wake up from or have any one wake you up from a heavenly dream.As long as we are still in this world we will have cares,troubles,chaos etc but we need to remember what the scripture says,we need to remember the very words of Yeshua Ha Mashiach because the Holy Spirit will bring it to rememberance in our thoughts,in our quite times or even busy times.Last but not least John 14:1 Do not let your hearts be troubled,you trust in God,trust also in me(Jesus,Yeshua). Finally find it in your hearts to forgive me for taking such a long time to update the blog page,I have been reminded that we shouldn't allow the busy ness of this world to take hold of us but rather we should keep our eyes upon Jesus(Yeshua)the author and perfector of our faith.Hebrews 12:2.Have a glorious week in Him always and may your Joy be made complete in Christ Jesus(Yeshua Ha Mashiach)Give glory to God our Heavenly Father continually and never faint to do what God has called and chosen you to do.He will give you the strength,wisdom,knowledge and understanding.He will uphold you in all that you have set to do in His name.

My healer

Psalm:He heals the broken hearted and binds up their wounds...This is a story of a young woman who was desperate for love she desired to love and be love.Along the way she thought she found what she was looking for but the young man just wasn't ready for her he said he loved her but she didn't understand why he just didn't want to be with her.In the midst of all this she held the hope that someday she will find that person,she grew up in the household of faith but she still didn't know the love of God in Christ.Along her journey of life looking of looking for love and wanted to putthebroken pieces of her life together every night she would go to sleep hoping for a better tommorow and praying that the one who will satisfy her every need would show up.In her heart she knew that if she wants this unconditional love then she would have to surrender Anne give her life to Christ but she was afraid to do so even thoughher heart was compelling her that way,she knew that she would have to give up on"premarital sex" of which she knew it was a sin against God and also it was the way of having a long term relationship in this days.She met a minister who led her to the Lord Jesus Christ after she asked for a prayer request for guidance in her life.This man of God told her that she way spiritually low and that is why she was simply existing and there was no life within her because Christ wasn't in her or rather she didn't have that relationship with him.Her life begun to turn around for the better whenshe finally committed herself to the Lord and allow him to be the Lord over her life,her music changed,her frownwas turned into smiles her tears wiped away sorrow removed this was all because the Lord who was within her was bringing this inward chang to her.Pastime passed by she still knew there was something missing and that wassomeone to share the love with the joy with and the smile she still had a deep longing to have someone to call herhusbqnd and the future father of their children she sought God every day by lifting this prayers up to him.The Lord was pleased because she delighted herself in the Lord always and she had no false motive all she wanted now was to share that new found love.when it seemed as though God has answered her prayers she metthis young man and she thought to herse
lf he is not my type little did she know this young handsome man was going to change her life in a way that she never imagined.Along the way as she continued to seek the Lord and asking him to sustain her the more she was getting attracted to this young man,she wasn't sure whether she was attracted to his height,his voice,his strength or what...she knew without a shadow of a doubt that her prayers were answered because when they would talk he would make her laugh,call her at night to say good night and also to say good morning.She was at a point where she knew that she was falling for him.He would speak of God's word desire the things of the Lord.One blessed day all was going to be turned upside down and the young lady's heart was going to face changes that she never saw coming at her.
Song of Solomon 3:5 Daughter of Jerusalem,I charge you by the gazelles and by the does of the field do not arouse or awaken love until it so desires.In short what I am saying is she believ ed that the young man lived her and no matter how many times she said no. He still went ahead and took a love that didn't belong to him,that when confusion came into her life the same man she believed that loved her,understood her,respected her and even shared scriptures with took her love heart and ripped it in two she didn't know where to God she didn't know how to turn to God on that day because she felt as filthy as never before.The same man that called her day and night was nowhere to be found,he wouldn't answer his calls and he seemed to careless about the woman who just grieved the holy spirit and defiled his temple.The young lady knew that she had to forgive,she needed to forgive and she needed to go back to the love that she had already started experiencing in Christ.At some point she believed that God was angry with her and she thought that she had been disqualified from the race.The shame she was bearing was unbearable.Her heart was silently breaking and her world was simply just falling apart.She had to wrestle with bitterness,confusion,anger and also she had to wrestle with ep her accuser the devil who made her feel as though she was unworthy of God's love.In the midst of all that she went through she stood strong seeking the Lord and seeking his will and above all his grace.Her guilt weighed heavily upon her that she was even blinded
to experience the Love of her heavenly Father,some days she would simply cry and pour out her soul somedays she would simply just sit looking up to the heavens hoping for rapture.God's love is unfailing unconditional and heals it takes away every pain and washes awayevery pain.This testimony is for any young woman who has longed and desired to be loved and love to find the true live in God through Christ Jesus his live dries away every tear that has been shed and he hears you when you call on to him in truth.Your motive may be right but whatever the other person's motive maybe aays know that God has you as the apple of his eyes.You may experience a heart break that is beyond repair but God knows your every pain instead of turning away from him.Draw near to him and seek to forgive your oppressors and persecutors.Some heartbreaks are designed to lead you back to the love of your heavenly Father.The devil might think that he has sent someone to breakyour heart but always know that God never ends the story without bringing back the glory....weeping may endure for a night but your joy is coming this morning.Pray for those that have hurt you,pray and do not desire any vengeance against them ask the Lord to set your hear and spirit free and he will dour.Theism merciful and kind his blood cleanses from every unrighteousness he is full of grace and truth,he sets free and he delivers y6his name is Jesus Christ the son of the living God.Be blessed as you read and always know that God has a great

Is in your tongue

1 Peter 2:25 When they hurled insults at him he did not retaliate;when he suffered,he made no threats.Instead he entrusted himself to him who judges justly.Some of us have gone through a tough time because of something that was said to us and that broke our hearts and made us loose hope and trust even in those we considered friends or a loved one.Our normal reaction as human beings is always to retaliate and seek to justify ourself and very rarely will you find yourself just letting it go and trusting God.Jesus our Lord before he was crucified went through insults upon insults and it would have been easy for him being the son of God and all power entrusted to him he would have done what was neccesary but out of humility and reverance to the Father no insult or deceit was ever found in him,he never sought to justify himself before man because he knew his standing with the Father and also he knew that it was the Father's desire for him to face persecution in body,mind and also in spirit he still held on to the will of God and we as his children and followers of him God has given us the same spirit of his son Jesus christ to endure and persevere and entrust ourselves to him even when the seat gets hot and hotter.The devil will always want us to be discouraged when alot has been said about us that is untrue and his desire is to bring contention and cause us not to trust what the word of God says and to have us walk with our heads bowed down in shame and discouragement hence causing a bitter root to start growing within us but as  a child of God who knows the Father's word and the Father's will and the father's love,God will cause the voice of the enemy to grow faint and the voice of Jesus to sweetly and gently confirm to you that no weapon fashioned against you will prosper and as you trust him he will help you and remind you that you are not alone and he is always there with you to help you in whatever you are going through,We servants and children of God will always have to face persecution be it physical,spiritual and emotional but your response is what matters will you trust God or will you cave in to fear.Therefore with that said and done no matter what has been uttered against us in words or somebody's actions let us ask God to help us not to curse men with our tongues but rather to bless them and leave the rest to God,you may find yourself seeking to justify yourself and wanting to prove your innocence but remember what Jesus went through and if you are going through the same do what Jesus would do.I love you all and be abundantly and exceedingly blessed thank you for taking your time to read.This week when insulted don't seek to retaliate and add fire to fire there will only be an inferno but seek to bless for out of your tongue comes blessings or curse and with your tongue and lips you create your environment so its upto you to create the kind of environment you desire.Salem

Make way for the Lord in your heart

Hebrews:12:1Therefore since we are sorrounded by a great cloud of witnesses,let us throw off everything that hinders and the sin that so easily entangles and let us run with perseverance the race marked out for us,2:Let us fix our eyes on Jesus,the author and the perfecter of our faith,who for the joy set before him endured the cross,scorning its shame and sat at the right hand of the throne of God.To be honest in life we are face with situations and circumstances that we find ourself fixating on what is going on rather than Jesus but we are encouraged to always trust in him and focus our eyes upon him for he knows our begining and the end,the devil might throw you off guard but when you resist him and submit to God by calling on him,acknowledging and being obedient to what God says then the obstacles that the enemy threw against you will turn into a stepping stone.Lift your eyes to the hill and there you will see where your help comes from,you do realise that when you look up the skies their is nothing that hinders you from seeing the sun and the moon but if you look down all you will see is limitation...do some excersice and stretch your hands to the Living God for there is no limit to reaching him he is waiting on you to focus on him rather than your present situation....Be blessed

Freedom

Romans 8:1-2there is therefore now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus.who do not live according to the sinful nature but according to the spirit,Because through Christ Jesus the law of the spirit of life set me free from the law of sin and death.To be honest many times i have allowed myself to feel condemned because i wans't able to fulfill what somebody else required me to do,many time i have allowed people to point out my weaknesses and i have allowed them,many times i never allowed this scripture to really sink in and settle in my spirit.We are not perfet but we serve a perfect God our downfall is always to please man rather than God and when man fails us we turn it around to wonder why God is at a distant.Honestly speaking God is as nearer to you than you could ever imagine.The devils desire is always to put you down and shoot whatever poisonous arrows that he can to rob you off of the peace of God and the love of God,the devils desire is to kill you and to destroy you and how he starts he comes in a very sneaky way and little do you know the poison has already begun to take effect in your system.That's why it is very important that every child of the Living God who has been redeemed by the blood of the lamb needs to be aware of the devices of the devil,how he comes,how he attacks and whats his purpose,his purpose is to rob you of the joy of the Lord,the peace of God,he wants to distract you,make you feel like you aren't good enough or not qualified or not annointed enough.But one good news is that God Almighty has redeemed you through Jesus he has reconciled you through Jesus,God rejoices over you,he gives you peace that the world can't give,joy unspeakable joy,his banner over you is love he has summoned you by name you are his,God fulfills his purpose for you,he makes the crooked places straught and above all else he fights the battle for you,He annoints you with oil and nothing can separate you from God's love it doesn't matter if you face persecution,insults,rejection,fear or doubt,God's love is always there for you he knows the condition of your heart he knows everything about you and he is concerned about you,So don't allow legalism,works or anything disqualify you from the grace of God that has saved you and has taught you to say no to every form of ungodliness(titus 3:11-15)It's time that we know that we have been set free by the Lord Jesus and renew our mindset and be watchful in prayer,praise and worship to God.Let romans 8 be your meditation and enjoy the freedom you have received in Christ Jesus,For it is God who justifies,who is he that condemns Rom 8:33-34)

Who or what do you worship

Rom 12:1 Therefore i urge you brothers in view of God's mercy,to offer your bodies as living sacrifices,holy and acceptable to God.this is your reasonable act of worship.
First and foremost forgive me for the late update but i do believe you have all been richly blessed by the Lord and not giving up the good fight of faith because it is the Lord Jesus who enables you to stand firm.In times of storm he is a shelter,in times of war he is our fortress.in our weakness he is our strength.
Back to the topic who or what do we worship we have been faced with so many distractions here that even finding some time to spend with God is not in our schedule anymore.I have been faced with challenges when it was time to sing praises to God,i knew that worship was about the songs that we sing until the spirit of God opened up my understanding to know that its not only about the songs we sing but how we live our lives in church at home at work or even when you meet strangers.In this society or in this modern day,you can find yourself sincerely worshiping but worshiping the wrong thing or person for instance money,sex,music,beats to a song,artist,your job,your worries,your problems,ministry etc and God is not in the picture.Worship is a revelation of who God is to you,knowing that your body is his temple where you carry his divine presence,worship to God is simply knowing that you can praise God without any instruments,no limitations,but you will find yourself clapping dancing as he puts a song in your heart,experiencing unspeakable joy,inner peace worship to God is knowing that you are a holy priesthood called to offer spiritual sacrifices acceptable to God through Christ Jesus.I have often wondered what is unacceptable sacrifice to God,when we live according to the sinful nature doing what we desire to do to gratify the desires of the sinful nature and not fearing God,being involved in sexual immorality ignoring that your body is God's temple.Busy body always in peoples business,gossip,complaining as though God has never done anything good in your life,wavering between two opinions money or God,idols or God.Real worship to God is being open with God renewing your mind and knowing that you are a son he is the Father,you the clay he is the potter,you are the vessel and he is the one who knows what to do with the vessel or how to put it to use.One time i was at work and later at night as i desired to get into prayer i couldn't because my mind was filled because of the disappointment that i had faced prior,i knew i wanted to talk to God but i didn't even know how to begin,music couldn't do it for me,i tried to read the bible but i was only staring at it...so i knelt down and the holy spirit gave me this verse...be clear minded and self controlled so that you can pray 1 Peter 4:7 i had to be honest and this is what came out of my mouth God i know your word tells me to be clear minded and self controlled so i can pray but to be honest my mind isn't clear and i haven't controlled myself...in less than a few minutes i found myself praying.All God wants from us is that we give it all to him and he will take care of it worship is not just about raising your hands or jumping or singing the right notes its about being wrapped in the love of a heavenly Father,giving God your all because he gave us his all(Jesus his son)giving God the best sacrifice and not sloppy seconds,being honest with him how you feel letting him know what troubles you checking in on him,smiling back at him being ever close to his heart and letting him dwell in your heart.let us not put him in a schedule,program or in a box but let God be the center,the reason and let him be your all in all in  Jesus marvelous name.Be abundantly blessed and have an awesome time as you live your life bringing glory to God for you were created for his glory Isaiah 43:7

You are the light in darkness

Matthew 5:14-15 You are the light of the world,a city on a hill cannot be hidden.Neither do people light a lamp and put it under a bowl instead they put it on its stand and it gives light to everyone in the house....Its amazing how the holy spirit ministers to us and teaches us,last night i was watching an african movie with my friend and when the movie was done i went in my room and knelt on the floor as though to pray but was reading the bible,what i was reading wasn't registering to me even though deep within me i really wanted to read God's word because i knew that God wanted to tell me something,so i walked out of my room went to the living room and sat there with the living room lights off and was using the reflection from the hallway when my friend came out of the shower she asked"eh why are you sitting in darkness"i responded by a small laugh(i don't know how to describe the laugh)and then said to her Jesus said i am the light of the world and if anyone follows me he will never walk in darkness but will walk in the light and as long as i am in the world i am the light of the world John 9:5.My friend responded by thank you for that word i really needed it.I give glory to God because he ministered that word by his spirit through&to me too.Sometimes God will place us in a place where he will speak to us only if we be still,the holy spirit will minister through and to us when we develop that hunger and thirst for his word.Every believer in the Lord Jesus is that light that needs to shine in this world,Jesus is still here with us He has never left us because He now lives and dwells in us by his holy spirit,so children of God shouldn't run away when darkness come but rather take their stand and be that beacon because greater is He who is in us that he who is in the world,you will be amazed at how much light you will shine when you walk in a room full of darkness,you will give light to those who don't even know how light shines.Look at the sun in the skies when the sky is clear blue the sun will shine in its brilliance,when it is covered but the clouds the light is hidden by the clouds we are also like the sun up in the sky.Be exceedingly blessed and go be the light in darkness let it shine so bright because it is Christ Jesus shining in you.
